Benthic Macro Invertebrate Monitoring with Gunpowder RIVERKEEPER®
Join us on the river for a few hours of monitoring. We'll get the stream, collect a net full of bugs and bring them up on the bank to categorize, classify, and count them to use Izaak Walton League's Save Our Streams protocol to measure water quality bases on the ratio of pollution tolerant vs intolerant bugs.
